I do the pervert routine... I breathe heavily into the phone and say, "What are you wearing?" One time, this made some female telemarketer turned on.

If you've seen the 40 year old virgin, when that one lady is yelling at what she thinks is a telemarketer, that's how i act!

Not very nicely, we get a lot of calls at all times of the day. Most of them won't take NO for an answer so I swear at them & they still call just to harrass me!

I say, "Can you hold the line please", place the phone down (not hang up) and then just continue on with whatever it was I was doing, I just leave them there listening to me going about my business, they usually hang up after 5 minutes or so and NEVER ring back....pml...

I have caller-id and I usually don't answer the phone, and if I do I hang up on them

I pick up the phone like I'm answering at a Chinese joint. Fake the accent, make up a phony name... It's pretty funny actually.

I say I'm not interested & were they aware that I am on the 'do not call' list and hang up.

i tell them to hold on while i get the person (which is myself) and then every minute or so, i come back and say, "sorry, one more second, he's coming." and i keep doing that until they hang up.
