Can you give me specific situations for which you fought over money to the point that you filed for divorce?

What profession are you both in?
How long did you date prior to marriage?
How old were you when you first got married?
Was this your first marriage?
How long have you been married?
Were you happily married?

Please answer title question + the 6 questions. Please be thorough with at least several sentences. Please do not post "we are still married" because the question specifically asks for divorcees that seperated over money matters.

Please share a story. Use detail freely. I got the time to listen.

Thank you for your cooperation.

This is one of the major areas causing divorce.

I can't remember the name of the program but a financial adviser counseled couples with financial problems

Usually the problem exists when one person over spends. The over spenders on this program usually overspent big time causing financial disaster.

There will always be difficulties when a couple cannot agree how much money should be saved (if they earn enough & it isn't needed to make it from one payday to the next) & how it should be spent.

My ex overspent even tho we were struggling financially. He would open charge accounts w/o telling me about them; I would only find out when he brought something pricey home. We argued about money a lot but that wasn't the reason we divorced (altho it could have been).

My parents agreed that any item over a certain amount would be discussed.

The people that I know that divorced over money had one person that blew it on anything. They did not care if the bills were paid, they only cared about what they wanted. The other people were because one or the other refused to get a job when the family needed it. I have never experienced this so I did not answer the marriage questions.

My partner and i were together 8 years before we got married even though he had commitment issue he was with me through ops we loved each other got married i even gave $50,000.After marriage i had to fend for myself he went off on holidays got things for himself we tried to have twins he would look after them but not me.Since we were both professionals doing very well i guess he thought he need not buy me presents gifts take me on holidays pay anything. He has bought a house cars for us so no complaints. We are happy otherwise good intimacy good life.So we have a problem now we hope to work it out but i dont know since i feel like im only here to cook clean have kids take care of them while he lives like a bachelor.Even though we both love each other something is not right.
