Blood Pressure - Inderal LA (Propranolol generic) and Cozaar good combination?

I take Inderal long acting 80 mg 1 time per day. My BP still runs a little high. My cardiologist prescribed Cozaar 50 mg in addition. Just wondering if anyone taking Inderal or propranolol (generic for Inderal) has taken this combo and how they did? Any side effects?

I too Inderal LA about 2 year ago. It is not meant for B.P. control, but for removing anxiety before an important meetng or assignmentl like an interview or making a presentation before others. Please check up with doctor again. It seems he has prescribed Cozaar for B.P. control.
