The fundamental purpose of government is to punish the man who works ill against his neighbor. Without such protection, the strongest rule - and they ain't necessarily the nicest.

That kind of thinking spread by the pro-Bush people is bad. In other words, "Indict me and you will have no government" kind of thing. I wouldn't accept that kind of thinking, because I know better!
