poll: are you much better off slowing down or speeding up?

(I can see a violation coming from this but I will try and answer it the way I answered a previously question concerning comfort.)

I have given somethings my all and had nothing left in the tank when it came time to cross the finish line, hence I was slowing down when I should have been speeding up.

That is why I prefer to the "coming from behind with a full head of steam," to finish the race with all my speed at the end. That is the most comfortable way to end a race.

So, I always say speeding up beats slowing down because it put timing in your own hands and makes victory a probability and not just a possibility.

That is the answer.

when I was younger I thought speeding up was the way, now that I'm older, slowing down and enjoying is the best way, I wish I knew that years ago.
