When I was a child I went picking wild garlic with an aunt & uncle. We went to a secluded area with an abandoned house & in ground pool.
We went picking for about an hour & we ended up a little lost.
We came upon an old house in the bush that was much older than the one we had passed earlier with no roads leading to it. It was almost completely overgrown.
We ventured inside to explore it. Inside were many old tobacco cans & assorted useless antiques. The bottom floor was one big room that had no walls. Off to the rear of the house was a stairwell that went to a landing.
My aunt & I ventured upstairs to see what we could see.
At the top there was a large dresser and no doors or anything else. It was like the house was never finished but they had planned to expand.
On the dresser stood a rather large mirror. The dresser had a basin almost countersunk into the dresser. Placed around the basin were a straight razor, soap dish, latherer & towel.
Nothing special. At that time I remember hearing a loud moan come from the entrance to the house. I looked at my uncle who was in full view staring towards the door.
We could see the silhouette of an old man coming towards the door. My aunt raced past me & to my uncle while I headed for a corner. My uncle picked up an old chair from the floor & headed for the doorway to bash a way out. When he got there the apparition had vanished. He called to my aunt & me and we ran from the house not looking back. We must have crossed 3 football fields before we stopped. We were still lost.
We began to look for the sun but the bush made it difficult to spot. My uncle found a bunch of garlic that we had previously already picked & we followed it to the truck.
We never talked again about this incident but we all knew we saw something that we couldn't explain.
We also never returned to the area since my family sold that house long ago. I wonder still to this day if the thing I saw was indeed a ghost.

On second thought I'd take the tea.

Happy Halloween

Many years ago when I was 15 my dear Grandmother had died, we were very close she was like a 2nd Mom to me,3 weeks after she died I was walking home from school heading to the back door, I saw her face in the window of the door. I froze, I didn't know what to do she then moved to the window next to he door then back to the door, I couldn't go into the house so I walked around for 2 hours. I know she'd never hurt me but it freaked me out I was so young. Since then I have seen a few more through out the years and the last one I saw didn't scare me.
Hot tea always helps a sore throat. Feel better!

I've never seen a ghost, but i've felt a presence of one.. you know those chain mails people get, when they tell you a story about a ghost that will kill you tonight if you dont forward to at least a number of people? well i got one that says 15 people, but i didnt have that much people to send to, so i just sent 12. So that night, i went to bed and suddenly, the door flew open, exactly what the chain mail said would happen, and a voice called my name... i was sooo scared that i closed my eyes, and fell asleep... the next morning, when i woke up, the door was still open from the ghost last night... that was freaky. I had to sleep with a night light from then on =[

Yes. It really creepy a dark figure was walking around on the upper landing of a deserted house I was in. I suddenly felt really cold and there were all this whisering sounds.
If I ever go back, I'm bring my rifle with me. That way I can truely know if its a ghost or not. But I'm too scared to go back.

I've also seen this phantom cat that goes around on the street in my neighborhood. it generally appears out of nowhere around 3am. I heard it was mauled by a backhoe when the community was being built in the 1970s.

I have had several encounters. One was at a hotel in Vancouver, Canada in July 2006. We were at a sci fi convention and many weird things were happening to people in one area of the hotel: a maid's vacuum caught on fire, one lady was thrown across her bed--in front of 3 friends, lights were doing weird stuff, the fire alarm went off, etc. The last day of the conference, at the closing party, I had taken a few photos with a digital camera and when we went up to the room to download them to the laptop, I noticed an aura around and across the guest of honor's head. We enlarged the area and there were 2 faces superimposed over his face. 2 not so nice faces. We made copies and took them back downstairs to the party.

Do I believe they exist? Yes. Have I ever seen one? I am not sure - I am not sure what I saw was real or if it may have been just a child's overactive imagination?

When I was young, about 9 or 10, I saw this "ghost" or figure twice. Once in my grandmother's house, and then again later in my mother's house but my grandmother was at the house. It was kind of misty but it was definitely a man and all he did was look at me and my grandmother for a few minutes and then was gone?

I think I might have heard one few years ago. It was in England in an old castle, I heard a very loud woman laugh but there was no women in that castle at that moment.
The thing is, a friend of mine heard it as well few months before, and there again, no loud women was around.
Strange!!!!!

People who believe in ghosts bet that they have seen the ghost and those who don't believe...never encounters with super natural stuff.....

Scientists have found numerous reason for ghostly presence....
--some source of light that can cause to make special ghostly effects in your photograph
--improper balance of electromagnetic field around the area...may be because of electric wires near or around the area or may be because of wiring of a house. If electromagnetic field around an area changes to some extent...you may see obstacles moving, mostly metal obstacles in real.
--change in magnetic field does effect humans...it may be positive (like magnetic belts helps you to reduce stress, pain, etc and other related things) or may be negative. The negative effect can lead human to mental imbalance, stress, paralysis and even death!!
--illusion of our eyes that our brain wants to see.
--sometimes the illusion might be because of environmental effect like mirage in deserts!!
--some top secret projects carried out by air forces and to avoid being seen...they spread the rumor of UFO(as shown in Discovery Channel)
--friends trying to play pranks around
--scientists have even answered the Bermuda Triangle disappearing.

It is up to you...if you believe in ghosts...you will definitely encounter one and if you don't you will never find such things.....I have seen people who don't believe in God or any religion.......now the question becomes...have you ever seen a God???????
