The director of Kurt Cobain: About A Son recommended it in an interview, and it sounds pretty interesting. I have read a little about it, and watched trailers.

I'm looking for answers from people who have actually seen this movie before. If you've seen it, what type of people would you recommend this film to? Who do you think would enjoy it?

thanks

I love Phillip Glass - I think those with higher education (college graduate), age 40+, who have a strong arts understanding or background. I believe Koyaanasqatsi is a Hopi word, so you might check with the Native American communities too.

It is a beautiful film.. but those with a short attention span, who want to be THRILLED by movies, or surprised.. aren't going to get it.. This one ties images to music in a way where both tell a story.. but without words. I have not watched the two that came after.. or Baraka (which I've been told is similar).. but I really did like Koyaainisqatsi.. don't watch it if you are already tired though.. you will fall asleep in 10 minutes..
