some people might feel better bringing their own clean plate that they washed, i've seen food stuck on a plate before that was clean

No, but I've sent dirty plates away to bring a clean one n make it a point not to dine there afterwards. otherwise i also wipe my utensils with a clean napkin.
but as u've asked this out, it seems this is bothering u much.. looks like an OCD thing.
did u watch the movie 'as better as it gets' ??
if u find this type of things in other aspect of life do check with a psychologist

I personally have not but, if I was brought an unclean plate I would notify someone in authority and their superiors and so on because it's just the right thing to do instead bring my own plate. When a person goes out to eat they're spending there money to be served right that's no more than fair to be served right..

What a query. You gets a celebrity for that. Wow, how awkward yet completely comprehensible. do no longer you think of the eating place you're eating in won't aid you to do something like that? your very own plates, glasses, silverware? What a staggering question.

I guess I don't worry that much about germs! If the plate looked dirty I would ask for another. I am rarely really sick and my kids are the same way. We have a bug for a few days and then are fine.

honey it ain't the plate you have to worry about. I worked in a restaurant before, and whose to say the food you are putting on that plate is any cleaner then the plate itself. your clean plate, their unclean food all the same when you eat it. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!

I have been a server for over 10 yrs. now and I have never seen any of my customers bring in any of their own dishes. I have never heard of anybody doing something like this.
