because as responsible parents, it kinda annoys us when people like the McCanns do things like leave their kids while they go out on the booze.

Because like the EU the McCann family are here to stay and always in the media, I would think, and like the EU people are now tired of hearing about them. It is a great shame for Maddie that she is missing, but they left her and her siblings for a night out, when babysitting services were available, and should therefore take responsibility especially as they left the door open. Rather like leaving home and not shutting the front door and then complaining that the house was burgled while out.

This is the biggest news story for years, you can't expect people to just let it pass without comment.Besides think that it's healthy to ask probing questions.

Because the whole thing is just a snowballing of opinions. Everyone asks so many questions because they want to convince everyone else that their opinion is right. It's never going to happen but then again neither is England winning the world cup. People still like to discuss the lineup and live in hope though.

Because they have nothing better to do!! Seriously though, I feel sorry for them and don't for a minute they did anything to Madelaine. I hope they catch the b***s that did this. Publicity is a bit of a tightrope - to much and public interest will be turned off, too little and people will forget.

They have no brain power of their own, they use tabloid newspapers to tell them how to live their lives. Headlines: 'McCanns murdered their daughter' this must be true because the Sun/Mirror/Daily Mail/News of the World said so.
They should all enrol in the police force and clear up all the rest of the unsolved crimes in the world, they would probably be better qualified than the Portuguese police.
