I definitely think they will make the playoffs but will lose once they get there. The Lions offense is really coming along as of late with the addition of an up and coming rushing attack. Now that the Lions know they can pick up yardage running the ball it is going to free Kitna to have even bigger games when teams must respect their rushing game. At the beginning of the season the Lions were about 90% passing and over the past two weeks they were around 55% passing and 45% rushing and showed a more balanced offensive attack. The only way they stand a chance in the playoffs is if their defense starts playing better.

I'm a Lions fan, and I think they're in. I'm also a realistic Lions fan who doesn't just say that. In previous years, I'd be tempted to say they'd choke, but this team seems different. They actually fight. And have a plan.
I think they finish 10-6 and get a wild card. All they need to do is go 5-4 the rest of the way. That's possible. Their tough games are Dallas, @San Diego, and @Green Bay. There's 3 losses right there. But, they got Denver at home, @Arizona, home to the Giants, home to Green Bay, and @Minnesota.

Did you watch the game against the Bears? 4 turnovers and they could only put up 16 points with their dangerous offense. They are already folding. Kitna is no hero and in the end... They will still be the Lions when they wake up tomorrow morning.

The Lions have a tough schedule in front of them for the last half of the season. If they make it, it'll be well earned. I don't think they'll win 10 games, but if they end up with a 9-7 record they'll make the playoffs.

They'll be in the playoffs...but so will the Cowboys and Packers, who could both handle the Lions easily...

it's gonna be close between them and the skins for the last spot. i think the lions are for real and can whip the teams in their division except for the pack. we now know the packers are for real and will win the north. so it's between the lions and skins for that last wild card. well, i should say it's between the lions and the 3rd place team in the nfc east, whoever that turns out to be.
