This game will be a lot closer than most think. I think that the Colts just might pull out the upset. And here's why.

The Colts have the best defense that the Patriots have faced and will face all season. The Patriots defense is not as good as the Colts defense, despite what some say, and I'll tell you why. Your defense only plays as well as your offense. If you're offense is scoring at will, the other team is forced to try and match you. This makes it easier for your defense because you know that the opposing offense will be going for big plays and deep balls, making it easier to predict the plays and select the appropriate defensive package. If the Colts go ahead early, the Pats defense will start to sweat, something they haven't done all season. The Colts defense, on the other hand, has had some tight situations this season and have come through for the offense. That, and they have tremendous speed. Look for Sanders to have a big game.

Also, the Colts have something to prove in this game. They are the defending Super Bowl Champs and are undefeated thus far. They are playing at home (where they have won 11 straight) and they are UNDERDOGS. This has got to rankle them just a little bit and will make them want to win this game all the more.

And the lastly, the Colts have Peyton Manning AND a running game. Now I know everyone will say: "But Robin, Tom Brady is GOD lolz. Look at his numbers this season. He is way better than Peyton. U need to lrn2watchfootball lolz" I admit, Tom Brady is putting up absolutely sick numbers. He is a great QB and is one of the best of all time. But he can't manage the clock like Peyton. Peyton will take this game into his hands and eat up the clock. He'll keep the Pats old defense on the field all game and wear em out. He won't throw deep touchdowns like Brady and score a bajillion points, but he'll systematically pick apart their D. If the Pats decide that they're gonna shut Peyton down and only rush 4, the Colts will just hand off all day and beat them down with the run.

I pick the Colts 23-21

I know every football fan is thinking the same thing, who will win? I want to say the Pats but then again? The Colts are playing like a legendary team while as the Pats are playing like Gods or are they? The Colts have had close games, a win is a win. But lets remember one thing. Only 2 teams have scored over 20 points on the Pats. The once 5-0 Cowboys for 27 points and ready for this... Miami for 28 points. That's right the worse team right now 0-8. So say that they still won by 3 TD and what? I don't think that the Colts are going to be held under 20? I say the Pats 35 and the Colts 31. Pats pray there D is Godly like.

The Colts will win 35-17. The Pats are a better offensive team then they were last year, but their D is a year older and this is the same D that gave up 32 pts in the second half of last years championship game. Colts have the offense to keep the Pats defense on the field and control the clock. Manning has the best Offensive line in football as he is the least sacked QB in the NFL and the Colts have a better running game then the Pats. If the colts keep the Pats D on the field the way they did in the second half of the AFC Championship game its all over for the Pats.

Hmm. I think The Pats have a better team but I think the Colts will pull off a win in this one. Reason: The Pats haven't been in a close game yet this year and they will really be tested by the Colts. A close game here though may be just what the Patriots need to close some games out down the stretch and win another super bowl.
Colts 35 Pats 31

I have to go with the Patriots. They are making their mark as one of the greatest teams of ALL TIME, not just this season. The Colts are also awesome, so its not dumb to pick either one, but i dont think the Colts defense can even come close to stopping the Pats and i think the Pats D have enough to keep Manning at bay. Its going to be one HELL of a game....

I have to say this though, all that talk about who is the better QB should be ceased now. I think Brady has boosted himself head and shoulders above Manning, he has never had the weapons that Manning had and he still produced fairly equal numbers and now this season he finally has weapons and he is proving that he is by far the best. His numbers are just sick, literally unbelievable. He is putting together the best season for a QB EVER so far....that doesnt take anything away from Manning, its just great to see 2 of the top 10 QB's of all time (at least top 10) in the same era running the two best teams in football and constantly playing one another! Were getting to watch a great thing, enjoy it!

Colts only allow 14.ppg... is that guy stupid? The patritots let up less than that... on top of it ... Washignton Secondary was suppose to stop the Patriots... but some how the Pats put up 52 on them... I think the Patriots walk all over the Colts... look for a game like the one last year in the AFC Championship game... but this time the Patriots don't give them a chance to catch back up... Pats win Big 38-21... GAME OVER....

New England's D is playing great but Manning and the Colts will atleast put up numbers in the twenties but there is no answer for the way Brady and his Pats are playing. Pats will win in their closest game so far

Patriots...Although the Colts dominated the Panthers, Peyton struggled...The Pats D will have a field day with that...*L*...Peyton chokes in big games under pressure...and he will against the Pats...and throw at least 3 INTs...Pats win 31-21...and thats being nice to the Colts...

The Pats will crush the colts. Fans will be walking out half-way through the fourth quarter. The Pats are on a mission, they're totally focused, and they're unstoppable. They haven't had to play hard yet.

Patriots: 38, Colts 10, and their last 7 points will come late in the fourth quarter, because they desperately want a touchdown. Manning will throw a long pass against the Pat's second string, and they'll celebrate.

Colts b/c it's in Indy. There's gonna be so much noise in that tiny dome when the Pats have the ball they won't be able to hear themselves think. New England would win if this game was in Foxboro this year though.

P.S. @ the guy who said the Redskins secondary was supposed to stop the Pats, 2/4ths of their starting DB's got hurt early in that game, so again the Pats beat up on a crappy defense.
