Joe Torre reportedly is going to be named the manager of The Dodgers. They are going to fire Grady Little just for Joe. Wow thats messed up. Who they got in L.A.? Brad Penny? Nomaaaaa? Good luck in hell Joe.

Considering how class-less the Yankees were in the way that they dismissed Torre- they should have told him from the get-go they were going a different direction instead of insulting him with a contract to "prove-himself" with incentives i think any other place than the Yankees is better for Joe.
As a Dodger fan i'm more excited that Grady Little is getting fired. And i think that the Dodgers in spite of Little were in place to win the West and with a few free agent pickups and hopefully not as many injuries to our arms- we have a good shot to take the West next year and once you get in the playoffs anything can happen.
I'm glad because Joe is a classy guy and i think he's going to be great for all the young kids in the organization.
You should worry about Girardi over-using Jaba!

why would he go to the dodgers? could it be that perhaps then he could still be managing an historic franchise, but would actually get apreciation for what he does? no!!!! never!!
so. cal. fans may show up late and leave early, but when theyve got a good one, the appreciate him (tommy lasorda, mike scoscia even dick williams) steinbrenner loves to say arod didnt appreciate being a yankee, well the yanks, and in new york in general never appreciated what it really had a torre, the one decent guy in the whole organization put up with all the ridiculous egos (jeter, arod, sheffield, giambi, cano, damon, etc, etc, etc) and an asshole boss that questioned every move he made, torre should be connonized for not having told the yanks to f-off years ago

With Joe and a decent FA pickup over the winter, the Dodgers are the team to beat next year in the NL West.
It's going to be an exciting year for Rockies, Padres, Diamondbacks, Dodgers and Giants fans next year.
