Unending patience, empathy, self discipline, a sense of humor, a love of children and of knowledge, and an ability to keep control. An ability to impart these to others. Oh, and a true calling to this profession.

Knowledge and the ability to communicate it effectively are paramount above all other traits. Secondary features would include social traits like kindness, sense of humor, empathy, and wit.

A good teacher is always after discovering and inventing new teaching methods and techniques. He is never satisfied with what extent of knowledge or experience he/she already possesses.

Benig caring and take time with your children, be patient with them.don't get upset very easily, they are only children. be nice and gently. A good teacher is fair and understanding and loving.
