Do teachers act the same way outside of school as they do in the classroom/school?

Please elaborate, give examples if you can...do you guys ever talk about particular students with others, etc.

No, teachers outside of school have very different personalities than what they show in the classroom. A lot of real strict/mean teachers in class are extremely nice outside of the class and vise versa

Ha Ha Ha - what do you think we do at home - set tests for eachother or read educational journals all night?
We do all the normal stuff that adults do - we party, we drink, we smoke, we do drugs, we even have sex lives, and yes we do talk about our students and have a good laugh about them too.
We take our jobs very seriously and being a teacher is one of the most stressful jobs around (here in the U.K it is rated the highest thanks to all the awful government interference that has messed up our schools) We need to unwind the same as everyone else. We are human, even though that is not part of our job description and the less humanity we show in the class room, the safer we are.

it depends....

some teachers act the same way outside as they do inside the classroom.

some are not acting the same way, they become so strict inside the classroom but they're friendly outside.


others are so respectable inside the classroom but so mean outside...

i sure hope she doesn't act like that at school!

No...they are entirely different. They are nice and sociable.......but they act like teachers whenever they come across students on the road!

no.while teaching they have to be prof and outside they are free.
