As of right now there are not jobs for foriegners like you think. Mostly since the problems with Nova(the biggest language school in japan) many foriegners are out of work and this is making it harder to find a job. To live in Japan you need a visa. Every visa has different criteria. You need to do more research on and about Japan not just the birth and dealth rates.

Labour work still pays decent wages in Japan. Love hotel sheet changers tend to be Chinese ladies. I once met a Nigerian gentleman who actually slept on the floor of the metal-bashing shop he worked in. After that, I stopped complaining about the trivial problems I had in Japan.

If you are from say, England, Australia or New Zealand, you could get a holiday working visa for up to 18 months. America doesnt allow working visas for people without college degrees so guess what, Japan doesnt allow Americans without college degrees to get working visas.
That said, marry a japanese girl that is going back to Japan. That is the best advice i could give you, that or go to college.

Check birth rate of South Korea, Hongkong and Singapore. They are more serious than Japan.
Japan have no plan to loosen immigrant policy. It's mono-cultural nation. You can't expect racial diversity like the US.
BA is necessary to get a decent job. And Japan don't issue VISA for simple labors. Of course nobody hires tourists in Japan cos it is illegal.

About the best you could do without getting an education is labourer. If you lived in a rather rural area you could pay your bills. If you could get in with the Japanese underground, you could study martial arts and perhaps be an enforcer.

It's getting really hard. They pay very low to foreigners, and the cost of living is very high.
