Good job, Truth. I got mine at 21, with no children. I know other men that had vasectomies under 25, with no children.

The doctor has the legal right to refuse you for anything he or she wants. He or she is forcing his or her own brand of morals on you. Keep in mind that the doctor does not understand that some people absolutely do not want children.

I went to a non-profit clinic and paid cash. I told them I had children. I told them my wife agreed(they can't legally verify this - federal law). I also "fudged" my age by two years.

If this does not work go to different clinics until you get what you want.

Today I am 41 and have no regrets. Also because I have no children, I can pass for 30!

Yes, a doctor could refuse to perform a vasectomy due to your age. Probably any reputable doctor would refuse to perform a vasectomy on such a young man. You may think you want one now, but you may change your mind when you grow a little older.

Unless you have a medically compelling reason for it, a doctor can refuse to sterilize someone as young as you, if he thinks you're not exercising mature judgment, say, if you just wanted to have sex and didn't want to bother with a condom.

There was a story on TV several years ago about a 16 year old who had himself sterilized, but that was because there was a high risk that he was carrying the gene that made his mother have severe early Alzheimer's symptoms. Still, he was under a lot of pressure from his father to go through with it. His sisters also had their tubes tied for the same reason. I'd hate to think that they were wrong....

I am a doctor, and yes, we have the right to refuse any operation we want to refuse.

Personally i will not do a vasectomy on a 21 year old.

Even though a vasectomy is reversable, in alot of cases the reversal is not successfull...

Yes they can because although it is usually reversible it doesn't always work. When my ex got his, I even had to go to sign because we were married. I didn't really want to do it, but because we already had 2 children & he was set on having the operation, I signed. I have since remarried & have 2 more kids! (He also remarried a woman who had 3 young kids! ha ha) You should really think about this long & hard (no pun intended) before you make a life long decision!! You may wish you hadn't done it years from now. You'll probably have to find another doctor - a lot of them may not be willing to do this! Good Luck!!

Yes.

If a doctor does not agree with a procedure. He will not do it. You will have to get another Dr.

Don't do this until you are sure that there is no reason for you to want to help someone have a child. Before I got one a long time friend asked me to donate.

Maybe your roll could be that simple. If you r a handy jacker. you could donate sperm daily for menly.

uh, ya! No way you know what you want at this magnitude yet unless you have some kind of genetic weirdness that you don't want to pass onto your prodigy.
