I had a near death experience yesterday and i dont know if i will ever get over it. There was a man in the park that stabbed me in leg, i manged to get away from him by hitting him in the eye with a twig. The police caught him and apparently it was a hate crime because i was a homosexual, What was your worst near death experience?

I tried to kill myself when I was 15. It was my only near death experience, so I suppose it was the worst. I was actually pronounced dead for a short time.

It's weird... having one of those. My English teacher pulled me aside and asked me what I saw... it was a white room. I was in an entirely empty white room with no windows or doors (which makes you wonder why I could still see, if there was no form of light). I just sat there for awhile and thought.

Then, I opened my eyes and my mother was by my side. I felt like I had just been born.

I was in Iraq driving a fuel tanker heading back to my camp. I was less than 2 miles away when an IED or roadside bomb went near my trucks rear tires. My truck went up in the air about 10 feet and I lost control of the truck and rolled over a few times. Once my buddy and were out of the truck it caught on fire. We came out of there without a scratch. I got over it within less than a month. Now I'm out of the military but I still know it could of been a lot worse. Another memory to add on to my scrap book.

I was going with my friend to the subway station. We had to cross a major street that connects with the highway to get there. My friend chose to try and beat the red light before it turned green and he did. I tried to follow him and the light turned green. I was stuck in the middle of a huge street with cars zooming past me, and I had to stand completely still with cars passing by, that were so close to me. Luckily, the light changed back to red and I got across the street safely. I'll never do that again.

My neighbor almost backed over me with her van once... that was an adventure. And another time I didn't see the warning lights and drove across train tracks right when a train was coming. To say I flipped out would be an understatement.

I was playing baseball and smashed heads with the shortstop while going for a ball. I was completely immobile, blind, but could hear all of the people talking. They were saying stuff like "he's dead" and "I can't find a pulse" I was screaming inside my head.

I'm glad that you're okay too

I got into a car accident last month. I was actually more angry than scared, lol. I am glad you are ok.
