None of the solutions listed is a solution of the equation as written. You must mean
3^(x+5) = 9^x
3^(x+5) = (3²)^x
3^(x+5) = 3^(2x)
x + 5 = 2x
5 = x

Did you mean 3^(x + 5) = 9^x?

The equation you wrote, as two solutions, both of which can not be written in an exact from without using the Lambert W Function. Which is going to be more complicated than what you want.
