In some primitive plants, before flowers evolved, roots can extend and sprout new individuals. Plants like ferns have spores. Plants like cycads have cones that bud and fall to the ground. Even most flowering plants can reproduce without using pollination of flowers.

so it's the same root but many trees...

Generally they have evolved a way to have their seeds dispersed. Wind, animals, water, etc.
