I'm thinking of writing my next play (written 2 already), and I was contemplating on which of these to should I go with. a.) Twins separated at birtth, grew up as childhood sweethearts, fell in love, then the guy discovers that he's dating his twin sister. He asks her if she wants to know about her real family, and she says no--they had to break-up, the guy decided, for the better. It would be more painfull if she knew the truth (which she's not interested in hearing). Or, b.) an angel coming to Earth, assigned to protect a mortal, and they fall in love. Which one should I go with?

Go with plan A. The "angel and the mortal" theme has been done to death.

The second one, though an excellent idea for a story sounds like something that has already been done. The first one is very good but you should switch the plot around to where he doesn't find out that she's his sister until after they find out about each other's families.
