Why are there so many posters in Yahoo Answers who hide behind the little cartoon images rather than using a real photo?

Because we signed up before they allowed real pictures and are too lazy to change them.
And what's wrong with a cartoon image? People can use whatever they want. I wish you'd use a cartoon image rather than a real picture... you're ugly.

i agree - i would love if well all used real pics - but when i went on , it said yahoo photos is now closed. I just can't figure out how to get mine on there! Some instructions would be appreciated if you have time to email me the step by step!
The only down side to it would be insults (take a look at the rude@ss poster that answered you first). if someone doesn't agree with you, there are alot of people who might throw nasty slurs about how you look.

Well for starters Answers was on before Yahoo 360 came out
Second, so many of us don't know how to put a pic up or what a 360 is.. (by "US" I mean them)
tee hee hee
Others are lazy....Some have had technical problems....
few don't even have a bloody avatar and have not yet noticed that they are faceless.....
And the majority are just plain butt ugly lol
jk and then there is the 20%Other....

well i have a real good excuse! ok well see my internet is way to slow so i cant use the yahoo IM and i think the only way really to have ur real pic on here is if u use ur one for the IM or whatever. so yeah thats why for me! and oh well i do kinda look like this!

I think for some people- those little pictures can "distract" from the Question asked. ... I mean -think about it; wouldn't you tend to answer more Positively to a "Pretty Face"- than to one of George Bush??! -My point- EXACTLY! :)
