Whether or not we "should" we are, because of business interests, and national security interests. It is in our best interest, and that of European nations (as well the world) to have a peaceful world where people can do "business" without the threat of war, etc.
Have a right-wing day.

Europe and the USA have minimal reason to be involved in each others affairs, beyond trade.
That said, it is plausible that the USA may have "affairs" in Europe and vice versa.

I think U.S should be involved in Europe affairs and vice versa as it will be better for the U.S to be in power of this

The short answer is no, not in any oversight capacity. But we are quickly developing into a global culture, and our individual national decisions are affecting other nations more and more. Under that premise, the U.S. should be cooperatively involved in everyone's affairs, and vice versa.

Europe has more in common with us culturally than anybody else. They share our democratic values, and in many ways have been at it longer than us. Who would be our main ally in a real war?
As for the idiot who said Europe only needs us to send troops, we only sent troops when the people Europe had been fighting for years attacked us! They were already fighting our enemies for us years before we woke up, rather like the Israelis have been dealing with the jihadists far longer than most Americans have even been aware of them.
Those whose understanding of history is that weak should refrain from making themselves look foolish.
We need Europe. Isolationists like to think we can do it on our own, but history has shown how wrong they are.

It's kind of late to stop now, like it or not Europe and the US are too important to each other to do anything but be involved.

We have always been involved with Europe's affairs and should remain involved.

With the war in Iraq...we lost
all credibility in Europe...and
in the world, for that matter.
We need to get a handle on our
own affairs, before we get involved
in anyone else's. Period.

No. I remember in my History class when George Washington left office, he warned against getting seriously invovled with affaris of other countries. Our leaders didn't listen, and look where we are now!
