in Afghanistan? And that if there really was a Saddam-al Qaeda connection they would support Iraq too? What would be the fake, calculating reason behind hating Bush before the election then rallying behind him and then turning on him?

Since liberals and Democraps have NO standards unless it puts them in power, who needs or cares about what they do ? WEe are at WAR with terrorism, regardless of the location or battlefield. The sooner the libs GET A CLUE and start doing thier part for America to win, the better. If they don't want to win...SHUT UP ! Quit giving aid and comfort to the ENEMY !

Or I suppose they would rather have us lose ? Probably .....

Everything I read says the Democrats are in favor of the war in Afghanistan. As I'm sure you're aware, because you're a well-read and informed individual, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are completely different. Different countries, different regions, different enemies, different reasons for being there. But you already knew that, didn't you?

Until recently, there wasn't an al-Qaeda in Iraq. Osama bin Laden hated Saddam and vice-versa.

Edit: I just read the other answers. Apparently the previous posters don't realize there are two wars, either. God help us.

LOL, thus the reason no one should vote for or be a democrat. I mean how many times do you have to see the corruption on the news, see China gate all over again, see democratic senators lying on the floor of the senate or raising taxes or parading poor 12 year old children to be a spokesperson for a program they know they are trying to mislead the American public into voting for ? Just how many times do you need to see them in action wasting the American publics time talking about BS and wasting your tax dollars while asking for more till you lean that is what a Demcrat is....that is what they do.
They wanted to seem all patriotic and go to war for a worthy cause, now they turn tail and run. Their accomplises in the liberal media wo'nt broadcast what's really going on in Iraq, they've attempted 55 times on resolutions to defund our troops and spread doom and gloom amongst the America public.
YA YA, i know....the republicans aren't perfect. They don't do everything right, but they don't blatantly lie to you from the presidents office and commit perjury. Conservatives don't want big brother Government to take over your life and tell you where to go for healthcare...assuming there isn't a line like in UK or in Canada, They also don't tell you you can't smoke or where or want to rule your life in many many other facets.
Socialism hasn't worked in any country anywhere and that's what the Democrats seem to favor.

If Bush came out tomorrow and said he was going to pull the troops out of Iraq by Friday, the libs would scream about how he needs to finish what he started. This world does not revolve around the itty bitty libbies and what they think. Many presidents have had to make tough decisions and only time will tell if they were correct. At least he is TRYING to finish what was started by him and the congress, including the libs!!!!!

You know I hate to say this, but could you people learn some English? I am not sure exactly what the heck you are trying to get at, but its worded very poorly.

Now as far as Saddam and Al Qaeda goes. If Saddam hated AQ as much as everyone says he did, then why exactly did he allow them to setup a training camp in northern Iraq? Hmmmm???

You're right, but then they decided to say that Bush lied to them so they weren't accountable. Then they used this issue to denograte the Repubs. Now, everything Bush does is handled the same way. It dirty tricks for political gain in election time.

Well commy how many voted for him to go to war in Iraq? All but one. I would call that support. Oh, that's right you voted yes before you voted no and you voted yes but you meant no or was it you voted no but it was a right wing conspiracy to change your vote to yes.

You do realize a majority of the dems voted to GO IN IN IRAQ, don't you? And believe me... if we were fighting the war solely in Afghanistan, we would be facing the same issues and the libs and dems would still be crying. Time for a new playbook.

A LOT of people were "in favor" of Bush's war IN THE BEGINNING, when we THOUGHT we were going after a country that STOCKPILED tons of weapons of mass destruction....Once everyone found out that Mr. Bush LIED THROUGH HIS EYE TEETH, even some CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS were against Bush's war... and still are...

the problem is that the Dems were not in favor of going into Afghanistan. Quite a few of them spoke out against getting into this fight. I suppose they wanted to fire a few cruise missiles and declare victory.
