I've been there back in the 1970s,
it was awesome, especially because
we had to get special permission
at that time to enter a communist country.
The castle wasn't in great shape.
I don't know what I was expecting,
as far as weird feelings,
but I came away with the
same strange feeling that
I get when I saw the
Lincoln Memorial for the first time.
In my opinion,
I think Prince Vlad did what he had
to do to keep his country out of the
hands of the Moslems and I believe
that if terror is what they understand,
then terror is what he gave them.
I really believe that he was justified
by his actions. I know this sounds harsh,
but 1436, was probably very harsh times.
Although I'm not Christian,
I don't see where he did anything worse than
what the white man did to the Native Americans
of this country.
Killing is Killing, no matter what the reasons.
