What are the positive and negative effects of Global Warming?

Positive: Cant think of any.
Negative: the planets weather patterns will change throwing eco systems into caos, & the planet will absorb more solar radiation as the polar caps melt, not to mention the sea level rising & flooding densly populated areas.

Positive: keeps planet habitable, but too much of a good thing is bad.

Negative: rising oceans means less land. Less land means less space for an exponentially growing population to live and grow crops on. Plus warmer temps means less good climates to grow crops in. More range for tropical disease to spread. Pollutants dissolve better in warmer water. Severe storms.

It IS a natural cycle. But that doesn't mean it won't cause us problems. Earthquakes and volcanoes are natural, too, but they cause a lot of problems for modern society.

positive effect- canada will become a tropical vacation destination. also, a lot of california will dissappear :)


negative- well, the polar bears are gonna run out of places to walk once there's no more ice
