The Rockies were the main attraction. Everything else was boring.

i'm still glad that the rockies got this far! i mean that's still a great feat!!

p.s.yeah it was pretty lousy.. i didn't feel that playoff rush!

I had to look in the forums for this question. I am a non-baseball fan, but catch myself watching the World Series now and again. Although the World Series was anticlimactic this year, it seems to be that way for the last several.

My reason for watching I guess is to see the ridiculously over paid "athletes", who can miss a game for hurt fingers, or sore muscles, or need days off, makes me want to chuckle a little.

The idea that these "athletes" are so lax about their jobs is possibly another reason I watch. The amount of money these teams make from the fans is the most disgusting thing I think.

Yes its the same in the NFL, but at least those guys take a beating to get their money, well most do anyway. As for the Red Sox fans, Congrats!... Rockies fans, well too much time off. And the A-Rod fans? Well if you are a fan, you should look at your paycheck, then look at his, and tell me what you do is not worth more, NO professional sports PLAYER is worth 25 Million a year NONE OF THEM :)

Thanks for listening :)

I think that the 2007 World Series was okay. I believe it probably was not the most popular World Series but if the World Series was between the Chicago Cubs and the Boston Red Sox, it would be popular since it would be a rematch of the 1918 World Series.

World Series? What World Series?

Yeah it was boring and MLB knows this. Why else would they be so upset about the news of A-rod opting out on the same day. I don't know if its just me, but the World Series and playoffs has really lost its luster. I think its the way the series are set up and the long layoffs in between.

Well, I personally think you suck for your opinion. But my opinion means diddly squat to you and to others here. So the bottom line is you're wrong. I'm right. The World Series was EFFING awesome, riveting to watch.

You couldve caught the newest episode of Cold Case on CBS on Sunday. I hear CBS dramas are somewhat remotely interesting this season.

I don't know if it was boring...I'd say anticlimactic. Everyone new that the Rockies would be cold after a 8 day layoff and Josh Beckett was unbeatable.
