Why don't I hear Republicans worried that a Democratic president will launch nuclear weapon against the US?

This doesn't this seem SIGNIFICANTLY more idiotic than saying they hate the troops and want the terrorists to win...in fact, isn't this the logical conclusion if they hate America so much?

The democrats won't launch a nuke because they can never walk away from that war, they would rather that we be nuked then they can raise taxes on whomever is left to rebuild the country.

Of course they won't, they won't protect the US at all. That's their recent history and we have no reason to believe that it will change. However, you must remember, the only nuclear bomb was dropped on a Democratic president's order. A democratic congress and president will decimate the military once more just like they did under Carter and Clinton and everyone knows that Hillary hates the military.

You are mixing up two different groups. Democrats are essentially the same as Republicans...only a mild threat to our freedom, incomes, etc.

The far left, liberals, on the other hand are often heard to claim they *hate* the US. On more than one occasion I have heard liberals call for the US to be nuked in the course of "world fairness."

That is a great question. Let's answer it: because Democrats (Hillary excluded) are smarter than to do something like that!
Of course I should say I do think she would do such a thing because she's just as nuts as Bush is, But Edwards is the man we want because he's the smart one - Obama comes in 2nd place for me.
