Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
by the Smashing Pumpkins.
Grunge was big in the early 90's and in the late 90's was Nu metal. But in the mid 90's there wasn't really a wave on a particular music style. Just alternative music. In the mid 90's the Pumpkins came out with their double disc album. Which was different from what was out on the market at the time. And it also show that rock music didn't have to be one dimensional.
