Nothing is permissible on Yahoo. Acceptance does not come with rules of behaviour set by an outside influence. Rules of protocol are set by ourselves and what may be perfectly natural for us to discuss is most certainly not for Yahoo's ears to hear, as they are ignorant. If we cannot talk about anything and everything, what else is there? Why even have a gay section if its topics must be limited to a few things and if its conversations are controlled and monitored? You place yourself in the same category as they by saying that, "as long as we don't", etc. Why shouldn't we? No-one is rubbing anyone's face in anything. It is a Q&A forum. People have questions. We answer them. Sometimes they have questions that not everyone likes. Know what the solution is? Don't answer them. Move along instead and leave it to those who are not afraid of honesty and compassion.

Accepted yes, (is there anybody that doesn't accept homosexuality exists? LOL).
But is it approved of? Much the same as the population in general, save that anonymous people get the chance to be uglier, nastier and more extremist than they would be face-to-face.

I am sure that it is acceptable, as I have yet to see or hear of anyone getting violaion notices purely asking questions about it. It's only when those questions etc. become up front and offensive is when the violation notices wing their way o the offende, or the so-said offender.

if your gay your gay as long as you accept it then it's fine, but there isn't any need to go into too much detail about your relationships as there isn't for straight people to do this either. General questions/problems ok, but nothing that is to intimate from any sexuality.

Just like in life, people accept it and then you have bigots who do not. Yahoo is open and would not have posted a category for us if it was not acepted

Depends on what you say and where you say it in my opinion. If someone comes to this section and expects to NOT see things about gay/lesbian relationships and sex etc....then that is their problem.
Anywhere else, my rule of thumb is I don't post anything that I wouldn't want to read. I mention my partner, if it's appropriate...beyond that, it's my business.

It is accepted until one of those so called Christians gets on here and ruins it for us by being rude.
