Okay, i am NOT a goth or anything odd....but do you think that they are horribly, morbidly and disgustingly ugly? Or cute and edgey?
I just want to know what you think...

just because Dr. Martins are boots, doesn't mean you have to be a goth or a punk or whatever to wear them. And they are neither extremely ugly nor extremely cute. They're just a basic boot with no particular distiguishing features to classify them as such, except for the yellow threading near the sole, but not all styles of Dr. Martins have those. I find them incredibly confortable (excpet when breaking them in, i've got scars from breaking in my latest pair) and very sturdy. My first pair of Docs were hand-me-downs and lasted over 12 years.

The boots in dark colors look militaristic and oppressive.
Some of the Mary Janes are cute.
These shoes can make or break an outfit & vice versa.

im just curious really, why everyone needs to come out and state that they are NOT goth or whatever....its stupid really. goth isnt anything bad, get over it
as for the actual question, doc martin makes more than just boots, they make shoes and junk too...so they can be whatever you want really.

some dr. martens are horrible, and very goth like the high lace up black boots, but there are some cute low boots and shoes out there. They are cute and edgy, but i would just steer clear of the high boots!
