Okay ... they're corny, I admit, but this was kind of fun ...

Equilibrium
There once was an old man named Pallance,
Who worked with some weights and a balance.
He'd fill up a glass
And then measure its mass.
A good living he made with his talents.

Elasticity
A chilly wind blows
The trees in the Autumn sun
Gently they straighten.

Fracture (?)
I once had a rock but I hit it
A little too hard, and I split it.
I jumped in suprise
As the chips neared my eyes,
And my mother yelled at me to quit it.

(I'd give tlbs101 multiple thumbs up if I could ... good one)
