Zero chance of that happening. Especially since winning the MVP is directly associated to winning.

He has the skills (if he can keep his mouth shut to the press). He is the best offensive player in the league, one on one. That being said, the MVP rarely goes to the best offensive player in the league. He has to make the other Lakers better so the team wins. The MVP NEVER goes to a player on a .500 club no matter what his personal stats are; ask Alex English - he scored more points in the 1980s than any other player and never won an MVP. The MVP goes to a great player on a winning team - always has and always will.

Man I can't wait for the Lakers to start rebuilding without Kobe...but than again the Lakers management has been soured since Jerry West moved out, man another decade before I can start cheering for the Lakers....

Guess I'll have to join the bandwagon and hop on to the Spurs...Timmy D took a pay cut for his team, now that's a true team player....Oh yeah he's a 3-time NBA finals MVP and a 2 time MVP...Good ole Timmy D, taking his strides quietly....

If KG puts up the numbers he did in Minnesota, he will be MVP once more.

he may have a chance..but he needs to be a team player..scoring isnt everything..hes good defensively but ppl need to see a major increase in assists and more wins...if ur team doesnt win then u cant b an mvp b/c u cant be the most valuable player if u cant take ur team to a W at the end of a game

If he actually plays and not complains about his teammates every chance he gets his chances of being the MVP is pretty good.

Never! Kobe isn't a team player, he doesn't make his team the best, he's nothing much more then a person just playing for numbers.
