No. With something like tums the expiration date has more to do with effectiveness than anything. It's not like they're going to become rancid or grow mold. Most medications like that are shipped free to clinics in third world countries once they expire because they're still good, just can't be sold legally in the U.S. I wouldn't worry at all.

No there is nothing in tums that will hurt you if you take them and they are expired the only thing that maybe wrong with them is they may not work as well with helping with the heartburn, because the meds in them have lessed over time, but dont worry you or your baby are not in any danger.

No. Tums are just calcium carbonate. They are usually the only antacid you can take when pregnant. Unless they were growing something unusual they are ok after expiration--only less effective. Don't worry-you didn't bother your baby at all.
