Breakfast is served until 11:00 am on Sat ans Sun. Some Mc Donald's were thinking about going to 24 hour breakfast, but then the cost on most of the items would have to go up because they you have to purchase more equipment, like another grill to have only for the eggs and one for breakfast meat. Those cost several thousand dollars.

McDonald's restaurants do things assembly line fashion. It is less efficient to keep serving the breakfast menu after a certain time, when most people don't want to order breakfast items. 10:30 might be the magic time to stop breakfast at many locations, but occasionally you'll see variations like "pancakes served all day" at certain spots in LA, for example.

Well, i worked lots of mornings, and you'd actually be suprised at all the people asking for lunch at 10 am (or even earlier!!!) but then, of course, lots of people ask for breakfast way after 10:30 or 11...some ppl even after 12!!

I suppose they feel that most people who eat their food want to have access to their lunch items as early as possible. I on the other hand, love their breakfast and would also love it served later! It is truly something to indulge in on occasion!
