When you have mentioned the slant height it must be a cone
Let h be the vertical height of the cone
h^2=25^2-7^2
=625-49
=576
h=24 units
The volume of a cone is given by
1/3(pi*r^2*h)
=1/3(22/7 *7*7)
=1/3*154
=51.33 units^3
Area of the whole surface of the cone
=pi*r(r+l),where l is the slant height
=22*7/7(7+25)
=22*32
=704 sq units

height, radius, and slant height make a right triangle (we're talking about a cone, right?). so 7² + h² = 25², h² = 625 - 49 = 576, h = 24.
so volume = (1/3)Ïr²h = 49(24)Ï/3 = 392Ï
surface area has 2 parts, bottom and "sides." bottom is 49Ï. if you unroll the cone, the "sides" make a sector of a circle that has a 25 unit radius. its circumference would be 50Ï, but the arc length of this sector is just the circumference of the base circle, which is 14Ï. so area of this sector is (14Ï/50Ï)•Ï•25² = 7/25 •25²•Ï = 7(25Ï) = 175Ï

well use it as a triangle to find the hight.
a squared + b squared = c squared
the hypotenuse (c) is 25 (slant height)
the a will be 7 (radius)
and you'll solve for b (your height)
then you plug those numbers into surface area and volume equations which you will find if you google them or look them up in the back of your text book.
hope it helps!

Applying Pythagoras law...
height^2 = slant height (l^2 ) - R^2
= 625 - 49
height = 24
There you are.. you can go ahead and find the remaining...
