Does anyone have a pet monkey?

I think it would be really cool, and when I grow up I want one, so i wondering: are they a really big responsibility?

I don't have a monkey, never have, and, while I think they're cute and adorable, I'd never want one as a pet. They really don't make good pets. There's a lot involved in caring for them and most people don't have the time or commitment needed to properly raise a happy, healthy monkey.

My father had one when he was a child. It was a capuchin monkey. He said that they're cute but they are a lot of work. They can get into practically everything and they are very curious so they can be destructive. Also, they are pretty much impossible to housebreak so you have to get diapers for them. They're noisy, too.

My mom used to have one alonggggggggg time ago. You can't own exotic animals like monkeys in the u.s. anymore, anyway. So good luck on purchasing one.
