"Deed of non-disclosure in relation to personal information"?

Question

I am signing all the paperwork for a new job in a research group and one of them is a "Deed of non-disclosure in relation to personal information", what would this be about?

If it were not in legal mumbo-jumbo it may be more apparant, but it just keeps reffering to "the information" and then giving rediculously all-inclusive definitions. What information are they likely to be trying to protect?

It's seperate to the usual confidentiality agreement (the gist of which is that they keep all the IP).

I probably don't have any room to negotiate, and i wouldn't turn the job down based on it. I just want an idea of what i am signing, for what rules they wil expect me to follow.

I know this is not offical legal advice, i'll investigate further before i take any actian on what you say.

how is it different to a confidentiallity agreement, why are there three different things?

Deed of non-disclosure means that the information given cannot be confided to others unless there is consent on the part of the person who gave the information.

Apart from losing the race for the Nobel prize, ex employees, that take the research notes of territory, are in breach of contract where it is about confidential material.
The extra rules, probably, something like you do not take your notes home, in case they can be copied. You should get copies for yourself, so you can always read up on them.... Your entitled to those papers... It would be crazy, if you would sign a contract, and only one administration has the right of access.... Legal talk, is a special verifiabl wise we e way of putting up documents, that have to pass through legal courts, when you would have to take them to court in case of breach of safety regulations, sexual harrassment, and other fineries we got squeezed in our bottom with at the copy machine. No sex at work unless in the new company commercial, and when these rules have been ratified by both you and your upcoming boss, you can hit each other over the legal head with them.... It is all very straight forward really... I used to write legal petitions and such for my neighbors, and people with reading disabillities.
Make sure to get your own copy, and sighed. Don´t sign anything about any terrorist act If I were you....
They sign something like, we will not gossip about you, unless you give permission, when you discover, Google has is leading us all about the Bush.... Or was it Tchernobyl Wintertime..? Make sure, there is not some paper, binding all responsibillity to your dear little backside, in case of an accident provoked by their lack of supervision, making you solely responsible to pick on your personal damages insurance...... You cannot be without, and get insurance for legal aid.... Workprocedures. are off course company property, but a good memory always becomes more efficient on the job.

I am not obliged to pay anything that only exists on the Internet. I have paid water bills on top of the waterbill, of the Water board 3 years now, they threaten me with all sorts, and I do not even find myself in their administration. The lagest sum Ican verify, but the smallest amount half a year before then I have to request from the bank for a fee...

This turned in quite a lecture on basic wrongdoing in Huge Administration boards....... They should know better, then to falsify records, and results. I have seen them too often, ducking the rules making workplaces absolutely unsafe, for service employees.
