Yeah, it would help if you told us if you were a member or not. If you are a member, then with 500K, I'd suggest merchanting obsidian items. The cape and the shield. The cape, I believe, is about 250K - 300K and the shield is about 350K - 400K. The prices may have changed, I'm not sure. But they are very good for merchanting. Also, Dragon medium helmets are 250K - 300K, that would be good.

If you aren't a member, then merchant full rune. Or maybe buy a piece of god armor (Guthix, Saradomin, or Zamorak). You won't be able to afford a full set with 500K, but you can get some pieces that you can merchant, I know that alot of free players love god armor. As well with all trimmed armor. Try to get some treasure trail items like Full black (g) or wizard (t) and merchant them.

Skills, along with Quests and Interaction form the three fundamental pillars of RuneScape. Skills in RuneScape represent the ability of gamers to do any activity or genre of activities. And as expected, the level of any skill attained is dependent on the amount of effort and practice that is put in. Skill levels are one of the major factors that determine the status enjoyed by any gamer in the realm of RuneScape. The better the level of combat skills, the bigger are the bounties earned by Pking as well as slaying monsters. Similarly, better extraction skills let a gamer manufacture more high priced items that can fetch higher amount of gps in the RuneScape market.

Your best bet would be to go to areas where people make the better foods & buy them there cheaply then go to edgeville & sell them at a mark up. Make sure you know the present values of anything your thinking of buying. Most newer items lose value as more & more of them hit the market.

You could also find a craftsman to work a deal with. Many of them make stuff but just high alkie it instead of taking the time to sell it. I used to have several merchants that sold stuff for me on the freeworlds but they've quit & I haven't gone back to the freeworlds to find more. If that sounds interesting you can email me directly for a copy of my merchants sheet.
