bad thing is, if they do give us a classic country section, some of these idiots will thing that trick pony, and or Rascal Flatts is classic. Maybe they just need a real country section. Fact is there are some artist out there keeping the spirit of the music alive.
EDIT:
Posted my thoughts on the forum, sorry for the delay folks!

I know you're right! New country would take over the classic country category. Country has always reflected the mood of the American people, and of its fans world over. It is the people's music! Let country music evolve (it will with or without us), appreciate the classic, the new, and the music to come. I, like many, do not appreciate pop and rock artist using country to augment their fan base. I simply will not buy their music!

that is super! I unquestionably have been straying removed from the country song area these days because of the fact it is quite often on the subject of the extra cutting-edge song (which i do no longer shield) I grew up with and love each and every of the older u . s . a .. it could be super if there have been a classic u . s . a . area because of the fact i be attentive to i could be in it many times. stable good fortune, desire it occurs and that i would be watching for it!

Possibly be a difficulty defining it.
Would it be pre-1970 singers/songs only?
There are some groups today singing "real" country, would they be excluded?
Recently bought a CD with the likes of Merle Haggard,Tex Ritter,GeorgeJones and others, amongs them was a group called BR5-49 singing "There Goes My Love" and a good job they made of it.
Having never heard of them,I searched. Seems they were formed early 90's and sing a kind of mixture; Western Swing,Rockabilly,Honky-Tonk.
So,as I mentioned, just what would you define as classic?

I agree with that and did what I thought was best but the powers that be chose to ignore us. We didn't get the support from as many others that we should have.

i think you and i and "fool "and "okie "and" rodeo queen "and "martin ","tex", and others should flood the category with enough nostalgia to force them into it (but i can't think of anything, right now)....actually "fool" is doing a pretty good job, now....but he could do better.
