Your current grade is 75.6:

Your test average is (95+57)/2 = 76
Your quiz average is (100+50)/2 = 75
To compute the average:

(0.60 * 76) + (0.40 * 75) = 75.6

=============================
You can make a 48 on your next test and still be passing:

(75 * 0.4) + (x * 0.6) = 70
30 + 0.6x = 70
0.6x = 40
x = 66.6666666, which is what you want your TEST average to be to pass.

You will have taken 3 tests after you're next one

66.66666 * 3 = 200
200 - 95 -57 = 48

You can make a 48 on your next test to be passing overall, assuming passing is 70%

Currently you have:
test 60% [(95+57)/2]*0.6=45.6
quizzes 40% [(100+50)/2]0.4=30
Current grade is 45.6 + 30 = 75.6

On your next test, the lowest grade you can make based on a 70 being the passing grade is a 50

your test grade is 76% and your quiz grade is 75%...

to find the total average you have to multiple the category average by the average that it is worth on your final grade.. (76*.6=45.6) (75*.4=30) Then you add them...75.6 is your grade...
