I do everything possible to obey the law -- but there are so many laws, even an attorney cannot keep track of them all.

Yes -- there are some laws that are morally repugnant -- but having sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution and to follow the laws -- I have to work within the system to change them.

I obey all laws, including the ones I think are stupid, because, as a middle class citizen, I think that by me setting an example of obeying laws, I encourage a society to ensure that the important laws that protect me and my family will be obeyed.
If I, with my easy life, can't be bothered to be law-abiding, then everyone else has a bigger excuse to break laws.
However, I'd break any law in order to save your life. There are higher, moral laws, in extremis.

It depends what type of law you are referring to. Is it Ritual laws, international laws, laws of protecting a single religion community, the judicary council above the leader or the leader is above the police, noting that some police are just employees of the govt and to win court cases you have to be a govt, if the leader a militant fighter, you will definately avoid following to avoid uneccessary medical bills for fighting. It all depends whether the law you are facing will affect your personal economy and affects your basic living needs. Remember some country follows international law freehold land and leased hold land and some laws are laws of the jungle, it depends honestly. Some countries change the constitution of human rights every year, some every day to win political elections so the law is always accumulated and increasing every year to win political seats. In some countries when you are caught in a criminal act, and there are law paths to escape fr international law sentence and you need massive free religious lawyers, some laws are options and inter-switchable to protect a certain priviledged political community for example depending on community, religion and race, you can switch and convert civil law to religion law and religion law to payment law and then a cheque to heaven, it depends on human intellegence and iq and the address of the destination honestly
Does that answer your question?
