Just the other day it rained
It was a big pain
My moods twisted and turned
because of the change in weather
My name is not Heather
I like the sun shine and beach better
When I do not have to wear a sweater!!
Unfortunatly I'm not poetic. My boyfriend is I don't know how he does it. He writes songs and they just flow and it comes to him. I admire that in someone so good for you if you've got it! It's a true talent.

I'm not much into poetry but Edgar Allan Poe gets to me every time with "Annabelle Lee" & "The Raven".

I lost my job the last day of September. Through the month of October I have written a dozen poems and started two more today. I have over twenty of them written now. I had written 9 before September.

Yes I'm a poet. i write poems all the time sad ones happy ones
political ones ect. I have too many wanting to come out now
I don't cry i let the rain cry for me
I just smile i let the rain cry for me
I might sing i let the rain cry for me
If I'm sad just know it's true the rain cries for me
the blue sky smiles for me showing me a new beginning

Kinda OF, I Am Like The Explantory/Story Poetic Person
HUMANS CAN BE TOUGH CREATURES. ATTACK MY HEALTH, AND I CAN RECOVER. ATTACK MY JOB OR FINANCES, AND I CAN FIND A WAY TO PULL THROUGH. ATTACK MY PRIDE AND I GROW THICKER SKIN.
BUT WOUND MY HEART, AND YOU LEAVE ME DEVASTATED.
FEW THINGS IN THIS WORLD HURT LIKE A BROKEN HEART. IT'S THE BLOW THAT YOU NEVER SEE COMING: A LONGTIME FRIEND TURNS THEIR BACK ON YOU. SOMEONE YOU LOVE REJECTS YOU. SOMEBODY YOU'VE LET INTO THE DEEPEST, MOST PRIVATE CORNERS OF YOUR HEART SAYS OR DOES SOMETHING TO HURT YOU WHERE YOU'RE MOST VULNERABLE.
MAYBE SOMEBODY HURT YOU OUT OF SPITE, AND YOU'RE REELING FROM THE BETRAYAL. OR MAYBE A HEART-WRENCHING BREAKUP OR THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE HAS YOU FEELING EMPTY AND ALONE.
PAINFUL AS IT IS, THE BROKEN HEART IS HERE TO STAY. IT'S PART OF BEING HUMAN, AND IT'S A SOMETIMES BITTER REMINDER OF HOW IMPORTANT OUR RELATIONSHIPS ARE TO US.
