Not bad -- not bad at all! I would definitely give it more consideration as a middle rather than a first name, though.

Don't worry about the inspiration - think of all the little Jordans out there that were inspired by Michael Jordan! Inspiration strikes everywhere!

Good luck!

I think it could be a uniquely good name as long as it has a middle and last name that go well with it. The only thing I can say is that you might want to avoid middle names that end with "en" because then you'd be lolling around trying to pronouce it all!

Example: Riven Aiden (last name)

Hmm...imho, bad.
It's kind of like Raven and not sure how Riven would sound. People might have a hard time with it. It has an odd sound to it.

What can you say? How about "Gee, little Riven, Mommy was a self-obsessed moron when she named you after an unpopular, wierd little puzzle game from 30 years ago."

Lady, you don't live with the name, the kid does. Think about that, then think about who's gonna look after you when you're 80.

It's odd ... and when I first saw it I didn't want to like it ... but after I said it out loud I have to admit that it's nice. Strong, somewhat poetic ...

But it's a little odd, and odd is much less acceptable (by general consensus) for boys names than it is for girls names. Don't let anyone deter you, there's nothing wrong with it, and I quite like it!

im sorry i dont think its the best. its creative yes. it would be an awesome middle name. you have to remember that you will call him that for the rest of his life. Also you have to take into account that others could make fun of him. thats always never fun. and not fair.
