That scientist predicted that in 1,000 years the human race will reach its peak; it will split up into two groups, one a beutiful intelligent race and the other an ugly, short, deformed race. Is it me or did he read The Time Machine and stole the plot? answer if you agree, i mean come on! I have an equation for that scientist. What does C-R-A-Z-Y spell?

He's way off both time-wise and what the two species will look like. You WILL have the beautiful people (enhanced even more by plastic surgery) who spend their days exercising and primping and making movies and the rest of humanity who will actually do the work. They won't be ugly, just out of shape. They'll also be a hell of a lot smarter than the lookers, but that's true today.

Well, one problem I can see is that the scientist, Oliver Currey, is assuming that things will proceed as they always have. We don't know what this planet will be like even 100 years from now, never mind 1,000 or 10,000. I say its a theory that is minimally possible, but unlikely.

1000 years IS a long time...

ppl are getting shallow as f@ck.
every one likes the cute ppl. ugly ppl don't get none so they have to hook up with each other...
thats the only way i could see that happening.
even though two ugly ppl make one really cute baby.

Can you explain why you though he was wrong? I'm sure you read his paper carefully and found some flaws. Please explain.
