I remember an article that said people are soon going to be going into outerspace for just a monumental cost. I was just wondering if anyone could find that article, or if they knew how long the people would be staying in those space stations.

The last I read, they were booking (very far in advance) one and two week stays. That seems a logical timeframe to me. The shuttle that brings them up brings back the previous guests and a weekly or bi-weekly schedule sounds about right.

Several people have already spent 1 week in space for $20 million to $30 million each. Dennis Tito was the first one.

There are new companies building suborbital space ships to take people to space for "only" $100,000 - $200,000. But they will only be in space a couple minutes. Still, it is space and it is cheaper than $20 million. None of these companies has flown a paying passenger yet though. It will be a few more years.
