.... as republicans claim, how come they lost six out of the last seven of the elections for the House and Senate? Even 2006 was a squeeker where the Dems just barely took control.

Guess you missed the last gubernatorial election in Washington state, the last congressional elections in Ohio and Florida and the last Presidential election in Mexico.
