Attention! All listeners of underground and old school hip-hop!?

Question

I got this idea while day dreaming in school. We should all pick an underground or old school song that we like, call your local radio station and ask them to play it.
You might say, "Well, they won't have that record"
TRUE...
But, think about it, the more they notice that people are demanding some better quality in radio stations, the more they will be forced to change their style. Some of you complain(as I have) about the quality of mainstream these days. Well, Do Something About It! I'm trying. I'm doing this for all of you.

I want you guys to spread the message.
I'll also need the help of the regulars on here.

Yeah Angel, I know how most of the industry works but we have to try. It's worth a try. Instead of sittin on our asses complaining(well for the ones that do). It's called a request.

Did you read it Dilla? I clearly stated, your local station. You see you gotta get people to call in during request time and over time the pressure will build on them.

You cant play underground on the radio!

You have to be signed with a major record label to get radio play.It sucks but that is the hard truth.

Could work in a town but In a city, with at least 2 stations competing, and with millions of people, a few Hip-Hop fans are not gonna change anything.
