Yes as an older American I do, We must have information on what our government is doing .I don't care if you support it or your against it, before you can do either you need to be informed. This question needs to have some serious answers if there are some who really care about the United States.

I think that as an American, we tend to lose interest very fast. We like to move on to avoid the pain. So for most of America you would expect an answer like Iraq who? where?

its not that they lose interest , it's just a feeling of helplessness. What will talking about it do for them, ya know?
EVERY time, and i mean every time you turn on the news the first thing you hear are about the suicide bombings, etc. in Iraq. It will never end. I don't care how long we are over there, those people will never change. We're fighting a lost cause and it's at our people's expense. My hat's are off to all our soldiers for going over there, but what's sad to me is, they are not fighting for OUR freedom, but for Iraq's freedom - most of whom don't even want it. God Bless our soldiers!

I care I care very much because I have 5 guys that I know and love very much in that war. I hate it when people just give up on the war just because you dont have loved ones fighting doesnt mean you can try to make people stop caring about whats going on. You would care if there was a war going on in America wouldnt you???

No I have not lost interest of our soldiers in Iraq. I still pray for them along with other prayers. I think the American people are just too busy getting ready for Halloween and the other holidays. I still hang my American flag outside standing for our country and to support our American troops. I don't care if people give me funny faces when I drive up in my car with these magnets saying "Support Our Troops." If we support our troops, then we should show them that we do. Maybe we should start putting our flags up and hang those Red, White, and Blue ribbons on our tree to show them that we do care. Shouldn't we??? Don't let the leftists think that we gave up Americans!!
Whoooa!

No. They want to know how much the biggest pumpkin weights this year, who ate the most hot dogs, and who got kicked off some numbskull reality show, and they got all this while filling up the SUV's while the IPOD's and MP3's are blasting out some useless hip hop gangsta-wanna be crap. If Americans cared about Iraq, they would be knocking on the door of the WHite House and telling W he is fired - now, today.

It's a trick question.
We are not doing as well as we had hoped, so news is rarified. No news, no interest, so we focus on sports instead
