I need help, i have been trying to find out about plantations for school and I have got some information. I really need to know what others can tell me about this. Thanks

They weren't all exactly alike but generally the slave quarters was fairly far away from the main house and outbuildings. Sometimes the owners would sneak down to the slave quarters to have relations with the slave women and that resulted in many cross bred children.

There are several pictures on this page. Generally, there was a plantation house, slave quarters in the distance and other farm houses.
