I had that around 6 weeks and my doctor told me because it was just small drop lets that is normal....She told me to let her know if it happens again and let her know the size. She also told me to take it easy for the rest of the week....Which I did...grin...made hubby do everything...was wonderful...anyway...took it easy and every time I could laydown or rest I did and had my husband do the chore I needed to do....and now I am at 20 weeks and I still rest during my two kids nap time and when he gets home I do dinner and than he puts the kids to sleep and I go lay down...

Its your time to rest and let your body do its job...give it relaxing time and just do some deep breathing and some meditation....pamper yourself...

When I was 9 weeks and 11 weeks I had light brown spotting. I was terrified! I called my doctor and they said unless its red, I have cramps or I'm filling a pad an hour, I'm fine. They also said that its normal to have some brown spotting and most of the time they never find the cause of the spotting. I was glad to hear it is normal but to see spotting anytime when your pregnant is really scary!

I would call your doctor and let them know about the spotting. Its good to touch base with them on something like this. Take care and congratulations on your pregnancy!

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I had a few drops of light brown spotting as well. I thought i was pregnant. I ended up getting my period today...you just have to wait and see. Everyone is different. Try to relax, drink plenty of fluids and hope for the best. It could be nothing or an early period.

Best of luck!!

I had the same thing at 9 weeks with my last pregnancy and had a m/c 1 week later. Go to your doctor and have it checked out. Good luck.

I had this also (but more than a few drops) and the docs told me (after a scan said all was well) that the most likely cause is 'left over' blood from previous periods. Its extrememly common. If it persist's get it checked or phone your doc for his/her opinion.

best of luck and congratulations!

I had the same thing and it only lasted maybe a week or so. I think it's normal around 5 weeks too from everyone else.
